A month after our wedding we travelled together with our godparents to Portugal.
This was their wedding gift to us and needless to say it was wonderful, as this is a place we have wanted to visit for a long time.
We decided to do the “Trash the Dress” there and our plan was to hire a local photographer for a few hours, but another amazing thing happened.
Two weeks before our trip, while talking to a colleague in the office cafeteria, I heard that another colleague was planning to go to Portugal. This colleague was also a photographer in his free time, a passion also shared by his wife, and together they take magical photos at weddings and other events under the name TheMoonlight. I then asked if he would be open to do a photo session for us during their vacation and he was more than happy to accept.
We had connected really well with them and had so much in common which in turn really helped the photo session as we felt a lot more relaxed. The actual shooting took a few hours but time flew by so fast without us realizing which means we really enjoyed ourselves.
This amazing photo session of trash the dress ended with a few drinks, lots of great stories and laughs.
